Where logic meets intuition

WELCOME,

I am an undergraduate student at Ashoka University, India, pursuing an interdisciplinary major in economics and finance, with a concentration in math. I started this blog as a love letter to economics, a discipline where numbers don't just sit on spreadsheets but help us make sense of literally anything around us. I love the analytical and technical side of economics that is supported by logic and intuition. Here, in this blog, at the crossroads of numbers and narratives, I will introduce both these aspects, building upward from the introduction of key concepts to economic models and their empirical analysis. Imagine a fusion of Sherlock Holmes and the stock market – well that's the vibe we're going for.

I am a college student, currently pursuing a Bachelors in Economics with a minor in Mathematics at St. Stephen's College. What pulled me to Economics was its ability to explain a bit of everything- right from how the economy ticks, to whether the toilet seat should be left up or down (although this one is still up for debate!). This blog is a creative space to explore the different fields within Economics and gain knowledge along the way. But most of all, it is to dispel popular myths and prove how Economists can also be fun people (mostly).
